L-Carnitine is used for the treatment of primary and secondary carnitine deficiency. It can also be used therapeutically to stimulate gastric and pancreatic secretions and in the treatment of hyperlipoproteinemias. Other uses include to treat psoriasis, seborrhea, dermatic forms of scleroderma, cardiomyopathy, myocarditis, stenocardis, acute myocardial infarction, postinfarction state, myopathy, anorexia, chronic gastritis gipoatsidnye, liver diseases, and neurasthenia.
